We are excited to welcome everyone in the community to participate at the Westminster Latino Festival, as a vendor, sponsor or exhibitor. The first step is to figure out what type of vendor are you.
Companies that wish to promote their professional products, services or message at the event. Examples: Insurance companies, realtors, chiropractors, travel agents, retail stores, restaurants, dealerships, financial institutions, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, political campaigns, custom made goods, etc. If you fit this description, you are a sponsor! If you sell products that people will eat or drink during the event, you are a food vendor. Regulations set by the Jefferson County Department of Health will be enforced. A current copy of the certificate of approval to operate a temporary food service establishment issued by the Jefferson County Department of Health must accompany your application. Food vendors must also provide a liability insurance certificate for at least $1 million, naming the City of Westminster and El Comercio de Colorado as additional insured. Small Comunity Groups:
A group organized for purposes other than generating profits; and for the effect of this event, includes small educational, religious, or scientific organizations. This category excludes financial institutions, colleges and universities, and political organizations of any kind. If selling food (excluding pre-packaged items), vendor fees will be at the food vendor rate, and must comply with all food vendor requirements. Arts & Crafts Vendor:
A craft vendor sales handmade items. if the items you are selling are handmade. A detailed description of your booth items and a photograph must be included with your application. Home Based Business Vendor:
A business whose primary office is in the owner’s home. Includes vendors who sell non-handcrafted products such as sunglasses, novelty items, home decorative items, or any mass-produced items. Examples are Avon, the Pampered Chef, Party Lite, and Tupperware. Vendors are responsible for collecting the appropriate sales tax.
